History

Seibod Gas and Welding Supplies was started by Mike Dobie in June 2002 and began trading after a period of extensive research into customer requirements. For the next 9 years the business continued to grow until they become the major supplier of welding and hardware products in the Sasolburg area.

In February 2012, Seibod Gas was bought by the owners of EWN&S Enterprises, a company that has traded in the welding and gases business in  the East Rand region of Gauteng for 39 years. With the additional purchasing power that the EWN&S brought to Seibod Gas, together with the exclusive brands introduced into the business, Seibod's turnover has continued to grow.

Description

The primary focus of the company is to supply gas and welding consumables to all manufacturing and fabrication facilities in the region, together with the supply of LPG to the general public.

Suppliers

A major part of the success of Seibod Gas is aligning ourselves to reliable and quality suppliers. We are authorised distributors for Air Products, Oryx LPG (previously BP Gas), ESAB Welding, Pferd Abrasives and Thermaweld products, all leaders in their respective markets in South Africa.
